简介： AsmallRhodeIslandcommunitycomestogethertocreatespecialHalloweenandChristmasmomen AsmallRhodeIslandcommunitycomestogethertocreatespecialHalloweenandChristmasmomentsseveralweeksearlyforan8-year-oldgirlwithalifethreateningillness.Atthebeginningofthefilm,thefather(JohnCorbett)giveshisilldaughterasnowglobeofalittlegirlholdingasnowglobe,andinsidethatglobeisanotherlittlegirlholdingasnowglobe.Themother(SarahPaulson)tellsherdaughterthatshehastoshaketheglobetomakeitsnow.Thegirlisfascinatedwiththesnow,havingneverseenitbefore,andwishesthatshecouldseeitforChristmas.Thefather,hearingthis,becomesconcernedthathisdaughtermaynotlivetoseeDecember.Afterthefatherquietlyasksaneighboringfarmer(SamElliott)aboutbuyingpumpkins-andlaterChristmastrees-thefarmerfiguresoutthatthefatheristryingtospeeduptheholidayssothathisdaughterwillhaveaChristmasbeforeshedies.Thefarmer,searchingforpumpkinstosurprisethefamily,healsanoldfriendshipthathe’dlostwhenhisownsonhaddied,andisrewardedwithaninvitationtobehisoldfriend’sbestmanatthefriend’supcomingwedding.Together,thetwomensneakatruckloadofpumpkinsontothefamily’sfrontporch,muchtothesurpriseofthedaughterwhodecidesshewantstohaveaHalloweenparty.Themothertriestoexplainthatit’stooearly,butthefatheragreestothepartyandthedaughter(andheryoungerbrother)begintoplantheirHalloweencostumes.Asashowofappreciation,thefathergoestothefarmer’shomeandinviteshimandhiswifetotheparty.Thefarmergoestotownandmentionsittoayoungwaitress(ElizabethMcLaughlin)atthelocalrestaurantwhomthedaughterhadbefriended.Later,thefarmergivesthefatheraboxofHalloweendecorationstohelpdecoratethefamily’shouse,andonthenightofthepartythewaitressarriveswiththetown’schildrentohelpcelebrate.Thedaughter-whowasprohibitedfromgoingtoschoolandmeetingotherchildrenbecauseofherillness-isoverjoyedathavingsomanyplaymates.Thefarmer,hiswife,andhisfriendandhisnewwifefollowcarryingtraysoffood.Thewaitresstriesherskillsasastorytellerandtellsaghoststorythatmakesthechildrenscreamandlaugh.Together,thefarmer,hisoldfriend,andthewaitresshelpthefamilycelebrateHalloween-andeachholidaythereafter-amonthearly,andindoingsouniteanentirecommunityandteacheveryonethatwhatreallymattersinlifeislove.Asthedaughterandherfamilyreturnhomeonenightfromaparticularlysorrowfulhospitalvisit,theyfindthattheneighborshavedecoratedtheirhomesandstreetswithbrilliantlightsandholidaydecorationsafullmonthearly.Thefarmer,hisfriend,andtheneighboringcommunitylinethefamily’sdrivewaytogreetthegirlasshearriveshome;herownhousecoveredinbeautifullights.Everyoneisinvitedinsidethehometocelebratewithfoodgivenbythetown’slocalrestaurant,andlater,thelittlegirlrunsoutsidewithhersnowglobejustasanearlysnowbeginstofall,duplicatingthelittlegirlinsidetheglobe.Tammy,thewaitressandcollegestudentwhobefriendstheyoungdaughter,writesachildren’sbookaboutthelittlegirl’slife,withpicturesthatthedaughterhadmadeherselfduringherillness.AsateenagerreadingTammy’sbooktochildrenatthelocallibrary,thedaughterexplainsthatshesurvivedherillnessafterthatearlyChristmas.Afterwards,shegoestothefarmer’sChristmastreelotwhereshereuniteswithherfamilyandthefarmer;toselectthetown’sannualtree. 详情
